Owner, Luxury Extension Artist, Redken Color Certified
Barbi began her career in 2000 after moving home to Florence from Nashville, Tennessee. Her interest in expressing herself artistically lead to choosing the beauty industry as her home.
After 8 years of developing her skills and building a solid clientele, she decided to open her own business. In 2007, her dream became reality. That dream was to create a salon where quality of services and excellence in customer service were built with a team centered atmosphere as the foundation. Over the past 17 years, her love for teaching and mentoring has led her to create a cohesive team of talented, dedicated, and b stylists that share common goals and vision for specializing in hair color and extension services.
Her artistry and passion is her driving force. It allows her to look forward to growing and learning with her team in our amazing, ever-changing industry and sharing that knowledge to make every guest feel confident and beautiful!

Business Manager
Angel wants to live in a world where 40 is the new 20, pale is the new tan and you get paid to watch movies. From DHEC to economic development, property management to human resources, she finally found her professional home here at the SALON of Florence. With more than 28 years of supervisory, administrative and customer service work under her belt, she’s been managing the SALON since 2008. Before the SALON she hadn’t owned a can of hairspray since the 90’s and was new to makeup and hair products in general. Now she loves all things hair and fashion!
Professionally, it is her ultimate goal to establish and foster a work environment that is harmonious, where everyone is treated fairly and encouraged to become their best self.
When she’s not crunching numbers or catching up with clients you can find her at a concert (because live music is life), tending to her furbutt babies or in a cozy spot with her nose in a book.

Operations Manager & Stylist
Bekah has been in the beauty industry since 2015, beginning her career as an associate before moving into operations management and ultimately finding her passion as an artist specializing in extensions. For her, hair is both a creative outlet and a therapeutic practice, and she places high value on communication with her guests. While she loves conversation during appointments, Bekah also offers silent sessions to create a space for clients to fully relax and unwind while achieving their dream hair.
When she’s not in the salon, Bekah enjoys life on the water, fishing tournaments with her husband. At home, she’s surrounded by her many beloved pets, including two yorkies, a mini golden doodle, saltwater and freshwater fish, and even a snake.

Sophie joined The Salon of Florence in 2023 after graduating cosmetology school and completing the associate program. Since then, she has been growing her clientele with a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful. She specializes in creating effortless, customized looks that enhance natural beauty and fit seamlessly into each client’s lifestyle.
Outside the salon, Sophie can often be found at the beach soaking up the sun, spending time with friends, or working out at Soulift. She treasures her Salon family and looks forward to welcoming each guest into the warm, uplifting environment she loves so much.

Morgan is dedicated to The Salon of Florence’s philosophy of offering a laid-back yet luxurious experience where guests can both relax and leave with a look that feels uniquely their own. She has a strong passion for dimensional brunettes and makeup artistry, and also provides bridal and event hair and makeup services designed to help clients feel confident and radiant for life’s biggest moments.
Whether creating a bold transformation or delivering timeless elegance, Morgan ensures every appointment feels personal, thoughtful, and results-driven—all within an inviting, supportive atmosphere.

Kendall has been a hairstylist since 2022, bringing a lifelong passion for hair and makeup into her professional career. For her, hairstyling is not only a creative outlet but also a way to connect deeply with others. She loves offering services that allow her artistry to shine, with favorites including custom color, formal styling, and makeup for special occasions.
When she’s away from the salon, Kendall enjoys reading, watching classic sitcoms, sushi nights, family games, and spending quality time with the people she loves most.

Kaylee graduated from cosmetology school in 2021 and loves creating lived-in color and dimensional blondes while delivering a luxury salon experience. She enjoys providing clients with a relaxing atmosphere and thrives in the supportive team environment at The Salon of Florence.
Outside the salon, Kaylee enjoys watching TV and spending time with friends and family. Fun fact: she has a twin brother and is engaged to a twin! Kaylee is passionate about helping clients achieve their dream hair while keeping hair health a top priority.

Salon Concierge
Josie joined The Salon of Florence in 2023 and quickly became an essential part of the team. As the salon concierge, she loves welcoming clients and creating a warm, inviting experience from the moment they arrive. Her favorite part of the job is the people—she adores her co-workers and enjoys connecting with every guest who walks through the door.
Josie dreams of one day becoming a hairstylist and salon owner herself. Until then, she’s gaining valuable experience while also focusing on school. Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her sisters, shopping, and expressing her creativity through music, singing, and playing her favorite instruments.
